Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our HDK electric carts and want you to buy with confidence. Each cart is issued with an official warranty certificate at the time of purchase. Full warranty terms and conditions apply.
New HDK electric carts purchased through New Zealand Golf Carts & Parts Ltd or an authorised dealer include:
- 3-year warranty on the frame
- 2-year warranty on all remaining parts

Coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, and is available to the original owner or lessee.
The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:
- Poor maintenance or neglect
- Accidents, collisions, misuse or abuse
- Unauthorised modifications or alterations
- Improper installation of accessories or non-genuine parts
- Routine wear and tear (such as tyres, brake pads, belts, bushes, upholstery, cosmetic fading, etc.)
- Damage caused by environmental events (“acts of God”)
- Transport costs to and from our workshop for warranty repairs
- Labour and diagnosis
Warranty may be void if the cart has been:
- Modified outside HDK specifications
- Altered to affect speed, braking, steering or operating systems
- Not maintained in accordance with the user and service manuals
- Used in an unintended or abusive manner
If a warranty issue is approved, New Zealand Golf Carts & Parts Ltd may, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective part, or
- Replace it with a new or factory-reconditioned equivalent part
Please note: carts may need to be delivered to our premises for assessment and repair, with transport at the owner’s expense.
Cart Maintenance
Looking after your golf cart is much like looking after your car — regular servicing and routine checks help keep it running safely, reliably and efficiently for years to come. Staying on top of maintenance can extend the life of your cart, improve efficiency, reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns, and help maintain its long-term value.
We recommend servicing your cart at least once a year, or every 6–12 months depending on usage.
Key maintenance checks
- Maintain tyre pressure at 20 PSI
- Check tyres for wear, cracks or damage

Well-maintained tyres improve safety, comfort and tyre life.

Proper battery care helps maintain performance and reliability.
- Check for loose or worn components
- Ensure steering operates smoothly
- Inspect shocks and bushes for wear
Regular checks help keep your ride stable, safe and comfortable.

- If the cart needs to be pushed, loosen the black round knob under the seat
Reliable brakes are essential for safe operation.
- Wash regularly to remove dirt and debris

Routine care helps your cart look better and last longer.
